About the role

As a Field Admissions Representative, you’ll interact with a diverse range of individuals, helping them achieve their educational and career goals. This dynamic and exciting role offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule and work independently while traveling within your designated territory (up to a 120-mile radius from Detroit, MI). You’ll work closely with local high schools to recruit students and build awareness of Universal Technical Institute and its programs.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, extroverted, and enjoys making connections. You should thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, proactively establishing relationships while following established guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with dealerships, industry partners, high schools, and local communities.
  • Represent UTI at in-person high school presentations and offsite events.
  • Conduct professional in-home interviews with a consultative mindset, utilizing technical knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain and update the CRM database for thorough follow-up with potential students.
  • Deliver public speaking engagements and presentations to educators and students to encourage enrollment at UTI.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UTI programs, financing options, and other relevant information to address prospective student questions.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment goals through effective outreach and recruitment efforts.
  • Adhere to all compliance criteria and procedures established by external regulatory bodies and UTI.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Public speaking experience preferred.
  • Industry knowledge preferred.
  • 3–5 years of outside sales experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and sales skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and ability to analyze and report data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build relationships, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service attitude, self-motivation, organization, and territory management skills.

Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
  • Tuition waiver after 6 months of employment for you and your immediate family at UTI and Concorde campuses.
