Loan Servicing and Payment Associate

About the role

The position involves performing various tasks related to loan servicing, including processing mail payoffs, handling incoming postal payments, verifying loan information, and managing customer requests. Associates will rotate duties monthly.

Responsibilities

• Have personal contact with associates and clients, ensuring all calls and emails are resolved within bank guidelines.
• Correct loan transactions and confirm future payments are posted accurately.
• Verify accuracy of daily work input and compare it to the previous day's records.
• Process NSF checks and updates the automatic transfer system.
• Coupon book ordering and monitoring ILs awaiting perfected vehicle titles.
• Monitor and distribute all mail, including verifying and addressing errors.
• Complete verifications of mortgage credit requests.
• Essential Duties:
  • Process mail payoffs, incoming postal payments, and Vanco reports.
  • Make corrections on loan transactions and clear up NSFs.
  • Order coupon books and update the Training Tracking Spreadsheet.
  • Handle VOM Credit Requests, Email Do Not Mail reports, and other miscellaneous tasks.
• Home Equity Line of Credit Tasks:
  • Create HELOC 087 Reports, close RVCs, and reorder RVC Credit Cards.
  • Process disputed RC Credit Card charges and clear unposted funds.
  • Review and close RVCs after the draw period expires.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of lending or title company experience

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and follow-through
• Loan knowledge or Loan Servicing experience preferred
• Proficient in NuPoint, IS Check/Network, Microsoft Office, Center View, Synergy, Outlook, and Treev

Pay

The starting pay rate is based on experience with a minimum hourly rate of $19.00.

Schedule

This position rotates duties among three associates on a monthly schedule, switching on the 1st of each month.
