About the role

This post is full time working 36 hours per week which will include day/night rotation working weekends and public holidays. Part time hours will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of person centred care
• Work within a team who prides themselves in providing a high standard of care
• Admit patients directly from the local community and surrounding areas as well as from Acute, nursing a wide range of clinical conditions including palliative patients
• Provide day case treatment
• Work closely as a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)

Requirements

• Must have worked within an NHS organisation
• General medical/surgical or community nursing experience

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN) or Registered Midwife (RMN)

Skills

• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to provide person-centred care

Pay

NHS Scotland pays commensurate with experience.
