Litigation Associate Attorney - First Party Property

About the role

The Miami office of Kubicki Draper seeks an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience. First Party property experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions
• Analyze discovery issues
• Prepare reports for clients
• Perform legal research
• Aid in mediation and trial preparation
• Attend court hearings, depositions, meetings with clients, and negotiate settlements
• Be proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with colleagues and clients
• Work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in litigation, particularly in the areas of Insurance Defense, 1st Party Property, a plus

• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
