About the role
Rudd Cooper is a full-service, mid-sized law firm seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team specializing in real estate and commercial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts related to Purchase and Sales agreements, Mergers & Acquisitions, Commercial Leases, Financing Documents and Entity Formations.
- Assisting with Contract and Dispute resolution and, when required, participating as an integral member of a litigation team.
- Providing strategic counsel to clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and deal structuring related to real estate and commercial transactional matters.
Qualifications
- Admitted to practice in Utah with 1-2 years of relevant experience in handling Real Estate and Commercial transactions.
- Candidates with other legal experience having a strong interest in expanding into real estate and commercial law will be considered.
- Courtroom experience required, with Litigation experience preferred.
- Ability to simultaneously manage and assist with multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of the team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, research software, and client/document management systems.
