Job Summary
Modern Family Law, a national law firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking a hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney to join their Dallas office. The firm offers a unique remote-first setting with occasional in-person work, low billable hours, direct client contact, and the opportunity to develop substantive litigation skills.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will handle a variety of family law cases including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support. They will be comfortable with direct client communications, drafting legal documents, and handling depositions, court appearances, and mediations. The position requires managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail and working collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities

- Communicate directly with clients, draft legal documents, and participate in depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
- Manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborate with a team-oriented group to ensure collective success.
Requirements
- 0-3 years of Family Law experience.
- Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
- Active admission to the Texas State Bar.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Compensation
$95,000 - $151,800 annually. This range includes base salary plus potential commissions based on billable hours and collections.
