Linehaul/Shuttle Driver (CDL A)

Role: The position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety and food safety protocols. Responsibilities Transport and deliver products following assigned routes, load and unload according to customer specs.Complete all required paperwork, including logs, inspections, maintenance reports, and invoices accurately.Maintain food safety standards, proper vehicle maintenance, and safe operating procedures.Develop strong customer relationships through courteous service and communication.Report route deviations, loading issues, or customer concerns to management.Operate equipment safely, including pallets, load bars, and onboard computers, and perform basic math and organizational tasks. Qualifications High school diploma/GED or completion of tractor-trailer driving school; preferred 1 year of driving experience.Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, safe lifting/delivery practices.Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, problem-solving, and delivery execution.Ability to operate large vehicles and equipment, read/write English, perform basic math, and work independently. Physical & Work Environment Regularly sit, talk, hear; lift/move up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 350 pounds.Climb in/out of trucks, work in various weather, and occasionally in confined or high places.Exposure to noisy, humid, hot, cold conditions, fumes, and moving parts.Work may include overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
