Linehaul/Shuttle Driver (CDL A)

Role: This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety and food safety protocols. Responsibilities Include Transporting, loading, and unloading products according to customer specifications and route assignments.Completing all required paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.Maintaining proper temperatures and safety standards during delivery.Operating equipment safely and reporting any unsafe conditions.Building customer relationships through courteous communication and service.Reporting route, trailer, or product issues to management, and working flexible schedules as needed. Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of driving school.Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and hazard guidelines.Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and customer communication.Ability to operate large vehicles in varying conditions, perform basic math, and work independently. Physical and Work Environment: The role requires physical effort such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing in/out of trailers, and working in diverse weather conditions and environments, including occasional exposure to noise, fumes, and high places. Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays is essential.
