Linehaul/Shuttle Driver (CDL-A)

Role Overview The position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer from the warehouse to customer locations, primarily during daytime with occasional night driving. The role requires extended out-of-state routes lasting 2-3 days, ensuring timely deliveries and proper handling of goods. Responsibilities Transport and deliver products, load/unload per customer specifications.Complete all required paperwork, including logs, inspections, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Maintain food safety protocols, such as proper temperature controls.Operate equipment safely, including trailers, load bars, and personal protective gear.Build positive customer relationships through courteous communication.Report route deviations, trailer issues, or customer concerns to management.Adhere to schedules, safety standards, and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma/GED or completion of tractor-trailer driving school; 1+ year driving experience preferred.Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices.Skills in long-distance driving, customer communication, problem-solving, and delivery execution.Ability to operate large vehicles, read/write English, perform basic math, and organize work independently. Physical & Work Environment Regularly sit, talk, hear; occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 350 lbs.Climb in/out of tractors/trailers; vision abilities required.Work may involve exposure to varying weather, mechanical parts, confined spaces, and moderate noise levels.Overtime, weekends, holidays, and varied start times are common to meet customer needs.
