Linehaul / Shuttle Driver (CDL-A)

About the role

This role involves safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to customer locations via tractor-trailer, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety and food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Transporting and delivering products, loading and unloading per customer specifications
• Completing all required paperwork, logs, and inspection reports accurately and timely
• Maintaining proper food safety standards during delivery
• Operating equipment safely, including pallets, load bars, and onboard computers
• Providing excellent customer service, establishing good relationships, and communicating effectively with management on route or delivery issues
• Working flexible hours, including some night driving and out-of-state routes

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and proper lifting techniques
• Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and communication
• Ability to operate large vehicles and perform basic math and organizational tasks
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
• This position requires alertness, adherence to safety standards, and good customer service, with physical and environmental demands typical of driving and delivery roles.
