Linehaul/Shuttle Driver (CDL-A)

Role: The position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer to customer locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety and food safety protocols. Responsibilities Transport and deliver products according to routes and customer specifications, loading and unloading as needed.Complete all required paperwork, including logs, inspections, maintenance reports, and invoices, accurately and promptly.Maintain proper food safety standards, including temperature controls.Operate equipment safely, report unsafe conditions, and develop good customer relationships through courteous service.Communicate route, trailer, loading, or product issues to management and work flexible schedules to meet customer needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school.Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.Knowledge of DOT regulations, hazard guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices.Skills in long-distance driving, effective communication, problem-solving, and basic math.Ability to operate large vehicles in various conditions and remain alert. Physical & Work Environment Regular sitting, talking, hearing; occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs.Climb in/out of trucks; vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision.Work may involve exposure to varying weather, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, fumes, and moderate noise.Overnight, weekend, holiday, and overtime work are common to meet customer demands. This role requires adherence to safety standards, flexibility, and strong communication skills to ensure excellent service delivery.
