Linehaul/Shuttle Driver (CDL-A)

Role: Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to customer locations, primarily driving tractor-trailers over long distances and out-of-state routes. Key Responsibilities Transport and deliver products timely, loading and unloading per customer specifications.Complete all documentation, including logs, inspections, maintenance reports, and invoices accurately and promptly.Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, maintaining proper temperatures during delivery.Operate equipment safely, including pallets, load bars, and onboard computers, following safety guidelines.Develop strong customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.Report route deviations, trailer issues, or customer concerns to management.Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work outside normal hours to meet customer needs. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of driving school.Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability to operate a vehicle.Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety, and Hazmat guidelines.Skill in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and effective communication.Ability to operate large vehicles in various weather and traffic conditions; perform basic math and organize work independently. Physical & Work Environment Regularly sit, talk, hear; occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 350 lbs.Climb in/out of trucks, work in diverse environments including hot, cold, humid, or confined spaces.Exposure to moving parts, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels; occasional exposure to heights and fumes. Note: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required to meet customer demands. The role involves following safety protocols and performing additional duties as assigned.
