About the role
Join our award-winning team as a Line Service Professional and play a vital role in our daily operations. You'll provide elite customer service to crew and passengers by fueling and positioning aircraft, assisting with luggage, and communicating effectively on the radio. Million Air services private, military, and commercial aircraft, celebrating our passion for aviation and extraordinary customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet passengers and crewmembers upon arrival
- Coordinate with coworkers, clients, and vendors to provide ground services for general aviation aircraft, including fueling, lavatory, ground power, potable water services, and catering delivery
- Marshall, tow, and position aircraft on the ramp and in hangars
- Handle fuel movement, quality control, disposal, and paperwork
- Perform daily checks and upkeep of crew cars and vehicles
- Maintain safe, clean, and secure ramps and operations
- Drive a shuttle vehicle with passengers
- Attend monthly crew meetings and annual recurrent training
Requirements
- Customer-focused with a naturally outgoing/extroverted personality
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and via radio
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
- Basic mathematical knowledge
- Bilingual preferred
- High school diploma
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Acceptable driving record
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
Work Environment
- Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft
- Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Position may require bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and climbing a ladder
Schedule
This is a non-exempt position requiring shift work, including evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience in the service industry preferred
- Prior aircraft ground handling experience a plus
- Entry-level position
Pay
$18.50 per hour (flexibility in starting hourly wage based on previous aviation experience).
