Responsibilities
- Develop and implement orientations and training programs for licensed facilities.
- Perform on-site evaluations of adult and senior care facilities.
- Investigate complaints in both licensed and unlicensed facilities.
- Recommend and prepare administrative actions to deny, revoke, or suspend facility licenses.
- Frequent travel required; must be able to transport a laptop and printer to the field.
- May be subject to overtime.
Requirements
- Background investigation and fingerprinting with criminal record clearance by DOJ/FBI.
- Valid California Driver’s License; proof required at time of hire.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, sit for extended periods, and use a computer and keyboard.
- Must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) addressing:
- Interpretation and enforcement of policies and regulations
- Investigations
- Managing a caseload
- Employment history must be fully completed on the application form (STD 678); resumes will not substitute for this requirement.
- If using education to meet minimum qualifications, unofficial transcripts must be submitted with the application; official transcripts may be required if selected.
Pay
- Range A: $3,938.00 – $5,090.00 per month
- Range B: $4,262.00 – $5,561.00 per month
- Range C: $5,111.00 – $6,692.00 per month
- Range D: $5,598.00 – $7,351.00 per month
- New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
