Licensed Spa Coordinator, San Mateo

About the role

The Licensed Spa Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a memorable experience for Spa guests. They are responsible for performing spa services and treatments, interviewing, hiring, and coaching staff members, managing daily operations, providing orientation tours, promoting the spa, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform spa services and treatments
• Interview, hire, and coach staff members
• Outreach marketing for the spa
• Manage daily operations including inventory and monitoring of daily goals and budgets
• Provide orientation tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering guests' questions
• Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features, and hours of operation
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programming promotions
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the locker/facility area

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills
• A valid California Massage Therapy or Esthetics License
• A friendly and outgoing personality
• Efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and money handling skills
• Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills
• Able to be a team player

Pay

$46-62/session, $20.00/hr. (non session work), ability to earn bonus pay.
