Licensed Spa Coordinator, Darien

About the role

The Licensed Spa Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a memorable experience for Spa guests. Key duties include interviewing, hiring, and coaching staff members, managing daily operations, providing orientation tours, promoting the spa, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring, and coaching staff members
• Outreach marketing for the spa
• Managing daily operations including inventory and monitoring of daily goals and budgets
• Providing orientation tours, explaining spa amenities, and answering guests' questions
• Providing detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features, and hours of operation
• Actively promoting the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programming promotions
• Handling guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the locker/facility area

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills
• A valid Connecticut Massage Therapy License
• A friendly and outgoing personality
• Efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and money handling skills
• Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills
