Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Behavioral Health Urgent Care/Overnights/PT

About the role

We are hiring for a Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Behavioral Health Urgent Care/Overnights position. This role involves providing support to individuals with Mental Health or Substance Abuse diagnoses in an office-based setting. Duties include completing crisis assessments, discharge planning, and care coordination with stakeholders. Additionally, you will complete risk assessments and utilize de-escalation techniques and Brief Solution-Focused interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform case management functions of linking and arranging for services and referrals
• Support individuals with Mental Health or Substance Abuse issues in a crisis center setting
• Complete crisis assessment, discharge planning, and care coordination with stakeholders
• Complete risk assessments such as the Columbia Suicide Severity Scale and the Violence Risk Assessment
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and solution-focused interventions
• Work closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback
• Complete all documentation accurately within the current working shift

Requirements

• Must meet the requirements of a Fully or Associate Licensed Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 15 lbs, pulling up to 10 lbs, squatting, kneeling, crawling, crouching, climbing, and stooping
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing, and lifting
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
• Must be able to talk and hear

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor Degree or higher & 1+ years full-time experience with population served
• Licenses, Certifications, Permits: License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession

Skills

• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in de-escalation techniques and Brief Solution-Focused interventions
