Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor/ Behavioral Health Urgent Care/FT/Days

About the role

We are hiring for Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Behavioral Health Urgent Care positions. This role involves providing support to individuals with Mental Health or Substance Abuse diagnoses in an office-based setting. Duties include crisis assessment, discharge planning, care coordination, and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform case management functions of linking and arranging for services and referrals
• Support individuals with Mental Health or Substance Abuse issues in a crisis center setting
• Complete crisis assessment, discharge planning, and care coordination with stakeholders
• Complete risk assessments such as the Columbia Suicide Severity Scale and the Violence Risk Assessment
• Utilize de-escalation techniques and solution-focused interventions
• Work closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback
• Complete all documentation accurately within the current working shift

Requirements

• Must meet the requirements of a Fully or Associate Licensed Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
• Physical requirements: Regularly required to lift 10 lbs, pull 10 lbs, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop; must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to stand and walk; must demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting; vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision; must be able to talk and hear

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree or Higher
• License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession

Skills

• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
• Ability to complete risk assessments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in CPR
