Behavioral Health Licensed Counselor/Social Worker- Behavioral Health Urgent Care/Overnights

About the role

We are hiring for a Behavioral Health Licensed Counselor/Social Worker at RHA Health Services. This role is urgent and requires a positive and personable individual to provide support to individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues in an office-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to individuals with Mental Health or Substance Abuse Issues in an office-based setting.
• Completes crisis assessment, discharge planning and care coordination with stakeholders.
• Completes risk assessments such as the Columbia Suicide Severity Scale and the Violence Risk Assessment.
• Utilizes de-escalation techniques and solution focused interventions.
• Works closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and providing feedback.
• Completes all documentation accurately in within the current working shift.

Requirements

• Must meet the requirements of a Fully or Associate Licensed Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor.
• Regularly required to lift 10 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. Must be able to pull minimum of 10 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
• Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.
• No on call responsibilities! No case load or productivity requirement!

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor Degree Master’s Degree or Higher & 1+ years full-time experience with population served.
• License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession.

Skills

Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, ability to work independently, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Shift differential pay- 10% weeknights, 15% Saturday & Sundays 5,000.00 sign on bonus!
