Role Overview
The Licensed Professional Counselor provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders in a clinical setting, under supervision. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing risk mitigation plans, and delivering evidence-based psychotherapy such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. The role involves individual, group, and family therapy within multi-modal treatment environments and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree in Counseling or related field
- Oregon Professional Counselor License upon hire
- Experience in behavioral health, preferably with substance use treatment, and practicum in a clinical setting
- Strong communication, assessment, and therapeutic skills
- Ability to work effectively in team-based care and handle risk assessments
Schedule
This position is part-time, working 32 hours weekly, with variable hours in an on-site setting, supporting a patient-centered care environment.
