Counselor FT TEMP

Responsibilities

• Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients
• Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient’s treatment plan
• Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context
• Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork
• Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program
• Maintains certification in Handle with Care behavior management system
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
