Licensed Practical Nurse - Rehabilitation and Health Center

• Assisting in the direction of nursing services for the unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegating duties to nursing staff and monitoring work performance.
• Observing patients for symptoms or reactions indicating adverse changes.
• Notifying physicians of emergencies or patient status changes and implementing physician orders.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from the licensing board, with proof of renewal.
• Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies for coverage.
• Ability to provide quality care, follow doctor’s orders, and demonstrate interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification annually and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
