Licensed Practical Nurse - Rehabilitation and Health Center

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and provide quality nursing care in a rehabilitation and health center setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delegating duties to staff, and monitoring performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in physical or mental condition.
• Notify physicians of emergencies or patient status changes and implement physician orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid LPN license from the appropriate licensing board.
• Annual CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
• Background checks and a drug-free workplace.

Skills

• Ability to serve as a charge nurse and work during emergencies to ensure coverage.
• Strong ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow medical orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
