Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN, Ambulatory Care

Role Overview: Provides routine, standardized nursing care under physician supervision, assisting with examinations, procedures, and patient management. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures.Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and hospital admissions.Maintain medical supplies and ensure equipment functionality.Document vital signs, medical history, and encounter data accurately.Call in prescriptions as per physician instructions.Educate patients on health behaviors and self-care.Prepare and clean exam rooms and assist in maintaining a hygienic environment.Manage clinical phone calls and communicate schedule changes.Complete necessary documentation for insurance and medical records.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications And Skills Completion of an accredited LPN program or recognized program equivalency.Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or applicable state licensure.No prior experience required; ability to adapt and learn quickly.Strong organizational and communication skills. Additional Information: This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor, with variable work shifts.
