About the role
Join a healthcare team providing compassionate patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized nursing care based on a patient's physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
- Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab results.
- Communicate patient observations and changes in condition to healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Collect and document data using specialized equipment, and orient patients and families to routines.
- Administer and document medications as per policy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
- At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training such as residency programs or program completion recognized by the State Board.
- Current LPN license recognized in the practice state; temporary acceptance of RN licensure if obtained.
Skills
- Knowledge of nursing practices and equipment.
- Adherence to confidentiality and policies.
Schedule
Non-management role, working night shifts in a medical telemetry department.
