Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical Telemetry - Full-Time Night

About the Role

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, patient monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education. Performs licensed patient care functions and supports individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care based on delegated plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and educational needs.
• Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab results.
• Communicate observations, patient responses, and changes in condition to healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Use specialized equipment for data collection and orientation of patients and families to routines.
• Administer and document medications per policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency training or program completion.
• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or in the practicing state.
• Ability to obtain RN licensure, with temporary acceptance of RN licensure if applicable.

Schedule

Work shift primarily night shifts.

Location

Medical telemetry department.

This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.
