Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical Telemetry - Full-Time - Nights

About the Role

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, monitoring, and patient/family education. Performs licensed patient care functions and ensures accurate documentation of patient responses and status.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care based on individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Monitor and document vital signs, drains, dressings, lab values, and patient responses.
• Communicate activities, observations, and changes in patient condition to supervising healthcare providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of medical records.
• Collect and document data using specialized equipment; orient patients and families to routines.
• Administer and record medications as per policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, including residency programs or LPN to RN transition programs.
• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or applicable state licensing.

Schedule

Position involves night shifts at a hospital facility.

Additional Details

• No supervisory responsibilities.
• Candidates may transition to RN licensure and are expected to notify management if they obtain RN licensure during employment.
