Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care, Neuroscience Med/Surg, Full-Time, Night Shift

Role Summary: Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, patient monitoring, and documentation of responses. Performs licensed patient care functions and offers patient and family education. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care based on individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.Monitor and document vital signs, drains, dressings, lab values, and patient responses.Communicate observations and changes in patient status to the healthcare team.Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and document medication administration and use of specialized equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned, including patient/family orientation. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency program completion.Current LPN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or applicable state licensing authority.Ability to obtain RN licensure if applicable, with immediate notification to management. Additional Details: This non-management role reports to a supervisor and involves night shifts. The position is within the Neuroscience Med/Surg department, requiring compliance with healthcare standards and a commitment to compassionate service.
