Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care, Neuroscience Med/Surg, FT, Days

Role Overview: Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, patient monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education. Key Responsibilities Delivers patient-centered care based on individualized care plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.Monitors and documents patient status, including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab results.Communicates observations and changes in patient condition to the supervising healthcare professional.Maintains accurate, confidential medical records and administers medications as per policy.Performs additional patient care functions within licensure scope and may utilize specialized equipment. Qualifications & Skills Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, such as residency programs or LPN to RN transition programs.Current LPN licensure recognized by NCSBN Compact or state licensing authority.Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality. Additional Information: This non-management role reports to a supervisor and is located in the Neuroscience Med/Surg department.
