Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care, Resource Pool - Med/Surg, FT, Days

Role Overview: Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Provider in a facility resource pool setting. Responsible for data collection, patient monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education. Performs licensed patient care functions within scope of practice. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care based on individualized care plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab results.Communicate observations and patient responses to the healthcare team.Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.Collect and document data using specialized equipment as delegated.Administer and document medications following policies. Qualifications Completion of an approved LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency/program completion.Current LPN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or state licensing authority. Additional Details: Willingness to float to various units; may require weekend, holiday, or on-call work. No supervisory responsibilities. The role emphasizes adherence to compliance, infection control, and regulatory standards.
