Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Acute Care, Neuroscience Med/Surg, Full-Time, Night Shift

Role Overview: Provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, patient monitoring, and family instruction. Perform licensed patient care functions and ensure accurate documentation of patient responses. Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care tailored to individual needs, considering physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial factors.Monitor and document vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab values; communicate changes to healthcare team.Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of medical records.Use specialized equipment for data collection, assist with patient orientation, and administer medications as per policies.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Completion of an approved LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, such as a residency program or LPN to RN transition program.Current LPN licensure recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state's licensing authority. Skills & Abilities: Basic nursing knowledge and skills. Ability to follow care plans, monitor patient status, and communicate effectively. Additional Info: This non-management role reports to a supervisor. Work is scheduled during night shifts at a neuroscience Med/Surg department.
