Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time, Night Shift

About the role

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, patient monitoring, and family education. Performs licensed patient care functions and maintains accurate, confidential medical records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care based on individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
• Monitor and document vital signs, drains, dressings, lab results, and patient responses.
• Communicate patient status, observations, and changes to healthcare team.
• Administer medications and document their administration per policy.
• Orient patients and families to routines and use of equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, such as residency programs or LPN-to-RN transition programs.
• Current LPN licensure recognized by NCSBN Compact or the state of practice.

This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager. Work involves night shifts at a medical telemetry unit.
