About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a caring healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall under RN supervision.
- Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor their performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms or reactions indicating adverse changes.
- Notify physicians of emergencies or patient status changes and implement orders as instructed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Current, valid license from the licensing board.
- Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies to ensure coverage.
- Ability to provide quality patient care, follow medical orders, and demonstrate genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Annual CPR certification and participation in required training and staff meetings.
