Licensed Practical Nurse - Healthcare & Rehab Center

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a caring environment, with a weekend commitment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in directing nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Delegating duties to nursing staff and monitoring performance
• Observing patients for symptoms and changes in condition
• Notifying physicians of emergencies and implementing orders
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing
• Ability to serve as a charge nurse and work during emergencies
• Annual CPR certification
• Commitment to attending in-service training and staff meetings
• Strong interest in geriatric nursing and providing quality care
• Background check and drug-free workplace clearance required

Schedule

Weekend commitment required.
