Core Responsibilities

  • Manage files, open and track new matters as requested by attorneys, and maintain all relevant document inclusions for the files
  • Recognize issues and propose solutions to attorneys and other professionals
  • Support attorneys with prebills

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm
  • Previous experience in corporate and transactional law preferred
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with management and staff
  • Expert-level written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated active approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Highly resourceful team player with the ability to be extremely effective independently with strong decision-making capability
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Extreme proficiency in working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), particularly Outlook
  • Experience working with the following programs is beneficial: Interaction, iManage, Chrome River, Intapp, and Internet search engines

  • The ability to exhibit meticulous attention to detail
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong proofreading and typing skills
