About the role

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support its Estate & Trust Litigation practice. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys handling complex estate, trust, and fiduciary litigation matters while providing essential administrative and litigation support throughout all phases of a case.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment. This individual will take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work while collaborating with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, organize, and file legal documents related to estate and trust litigation matters.
  • Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, depositions, meetings, and other case-related events.
  • Coordinate logistics for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties on behalf of attorneys.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and easily accessible.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support throughout the lifecycle of legal matters.
  • Assist with document management, correspondence, time entry, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant or Legal Secretary.
  • Prior experience supporting estate and trust litigation attorneys strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, and external contacts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a deadline-driven environment.

Pay

$60,000 to $65,000 annually. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
