Lecturer in Dental Hygiene/Dental Assisting
About the role
The University of Southern Indiana invites applicants for Dental Hygiene/Dental Assisting Lecturer positions in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions. This part-time hourly position is for those interested in teaching on campus in the Dental Clinic and laboratory sessions.
Responsibilities
- Teach in the Dental Clinic and laboratory sessions
- Develop and implement course materials
- Assist in maintaining student records and evaluations
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees
Requirements
- A minimum of an associate's degree
- Current DANB certification (for dental assisting applicants)
- Current Indiana dental hygiene licensure (for dental hygiene applicants)
- Clinical experience in dental assisting and/or dental hygiene
- Prior college-level teaching experience preferred
Qualifications
- Associate's degree

- Indiana dental hygiene licensure (dental hygiene)
- Clinical experience in dental assisting and/or dental hygiene
