Lecturer in Dental Hygiene/Dental Assisting

About the role

The University of Southern Indiana invites applicants for Dental Hygiene/Dental Assisting Lecturer positions in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions. This part-time hourly position is for those interested in teaching on campus in the Dental Clinic and laboratory sessions.

Responsibilities

• Teach on-campus in the Dental Clinic and laboratory sessions
• Provide instruction to students in dental hygiene and dental assisting
• Assist in maintaining the quality and standards of the program

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate's degree
• Current DANB certification (for dental assisting applicants)
• Current Indiana dental hygiene licensure (for dental hygiene applicants)
• Clinical experience in dental assisting and/or dental hygiene
• Preference will be given to applicants with college-level teaching experience
