About the role
The Leasing Manager is responsible for achieving the community's revenue and occupancy goals through effective marketing, sales, and leasing activities. They oversee the physical aspects of the community and develop strategies to enhance its appeal to potential residents.
Responsibilities
- Directs marketing, advertising, and sales activities to achieve community goals
- Develops and implements marketing plans to sustain occupancy
- Uses technology and property management software to generate and analyze sales and leasing reports
- Maintains the physical condition of the community to meet safety and appearance standards
- Generates and monitors traffic, qualifies prospects, prepares lease documentation, and completes move-in procedures
- Analyzes financial and operational reports to identify and resolve issues impacting leasing performance
- Communicates with clients and owners regarding leasing strategies and results
- Sponsors lease renewal functions, manages communication and notification processes, and assists with move-outs
- Responds to resident and client inquiries and takes prompt action to solve problems
- Supervises the leasing team by interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees, and managing their performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or leasing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
- Knowledge of local real estate market trends and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with leasing software and CRM systems
- Knowledge of federal and state fair housing laws
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and social media marketing tools

Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour.
