About the role

Join our dynamic community of experts at IT Concepts dba Kentro, where innovation drives opportunity and collaboration leads to success. We are currently seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to support our Corporate People Services - Learning and Development Team.

Responsibilities

  • LMS Administration (Cornerstone OnDemand): Manage the day-to-day administration of the LMS (Cornerstone OnDemand), including user enrollment, course assignments, and curriculum management.

  • Monitor completion rates, generate reports, and follow up with employees pending training completion.

  • Troubleshoot learner-facing LMS issues and serve as the first point of contact for platform support.

  • Support the rollout of new LMS features and assist with system upgrades or migrations as needed.

  • Prepare and manage all facilitation logistics, including calendar invitations, pre-work materials, attendance tracking, and post-session surveys.

  • Gather learner feedback and partner with senior L&D staff to continuously improve program quality.

  • Develop and execute training communications plans, including drafting invitation emails, reminder cadences, manager notifications, and post-training follow-ups in alignment with the comms team’s standards and channels.

  • Support content development, which includes support in building slides, creating and building e-learns using e-learn authoring tools (Articulate360).

  • Publish content on the LMS.

  • Maintain up-to-date ticket statuses and ensure requests are acknowledged and resolved within defined SLAs.

Qualifications

  • Experience & Education:

    • At least one year of related work experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Skills:

    • Proactive Learner: Curious, motivated, and excited to grow your HR/L&D knowledge.
    • Trustworthy: Exercises discretion and sound judgment always.
    • Growth Mindset: Looking forward to continuously growing.
  • Nice to Have:

    • LMS Admin Experience: Experience in managing LMS (as laid out in the LMS Administration section).
    • e-Learn Authoring Experience: Experience in building e-learns.
    • Training Needs Analysis: Hands-on experience supporting or conducting training needs analyses (e.g., stakeholder interviews, surveys, skills gap assessments); leading the design of the analysis framework is not required.
    • Training Effectiveness Measurement: Familiarity with recognized methodologies for assessing training effectiveness (e.g., Kirkpatrick, Phillips, or similar) and applying them to evaluate program/training impact.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
