- Oversee daily operations of the medical team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and documentation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care plans.
- Train and mentor new staff members to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Manage inventory and supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with healthcare trends and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in correctional facilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
