- Oversee daily operations of the medical team, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to RNs and other healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for inmates.
- Conduct regular assessments of inmate health needs and coordinate care plans.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
- At least 2 years of experience in a correctional healthcare setting
- Experience in supervising and managing a healthcare team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of correctional healthcare regulations and standards
Skills
