Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the medical team, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to RNs and other healthcare providers.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for inmates.
• Conduct regular assessments of inmate health needs and coordinate care plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• At least 2 years of experience in a correctional healthcare setting
• Experience in supervising and managing a healthcare team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of correctional healthcare regulations and standards
