Lead the Team RN Medical Administrator

About the role

This position serves as the RN Medical Team Administrator at the Boone County Jail. You will lead a dedicated team, drive quality patient care, and enjoy a predictable weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the medical team
• Provide clinical guidance and support to staff
• Develop and implement policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Collaborate with other departments to improve patient outcomes
• Manage inventory and supplies for the medical unit

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current RN license in the state of Indiana
• At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in corrections or similar environments
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
• Knowledge of correctional healthcare practices
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
