Lead the Team RN Medical Administrator

About the role

This position serves as the RN Medical Team Administrator at the Boone County Jail. You will lead a dedicated team, drive quality patient care, and enjoy a predictable weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with correctional staff to maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Provide clinical guidance and support to the medical team
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current RN license in the state of Indiana
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience, preferably in correctional healthcare settings
• Experience in administrative roles within healthcare settings
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
• Knowledge of correctional healthcare practices and policies
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
