Lead Security Officer - Dispatch
Job Summary
Enforces the organization's policies and procedures with all patients/residents, visitors and staff. Patrols and secures facility buildings and grounds as assigned. Monitors conduct of visitors on premises and confronts unauthorized persons for questioning. Reports safety, fire hazards or security violations. Responds to all requests for assistance from employees and visitors. Assists with any and all situation; i.e., problem-solving with positive outcomes. May escort personnel to and from parking areas as requested. Maintains records and prepares incident reports and other documents pertinent to security activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- College or vocational education is preferred.
- Prior experience healthcare security, contract security and/or law enforcement is highly preferred.
- May require a current valid driver's license with Sanford insurability dependent upon region.
- Advanced certification by International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety required within one year of hire.
