What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to executive staff, personnel, guests, and contractors.
- Responsible for the access control of assigned location.
- Supports executive staff for special events and meetings.
- Remains alert, alerting employees and others to potential threats or situations requiring immediate attention.
- Executes company procedures to ensure the physical protection of personnel and property, while complying with relevant codes and regulations.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with management, employees, and guests.
- Operates security systems: CCTV, access control, and incident reporting.
- Responds to emergencies such as medical, fire, or other incidents on site.
- Maintains record-keeping systems for security-related activities: incidents, events, and drills.
- Reviews incident reports for clarity and correctness.
- Aids in supervisory duties, including scheduling of AP security staff, conducting shift briefings, serving as the main point of contact for AP related issues, and filling open shifts to ensure continuous coverage.
What You'll Bring
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and meet uniform and grooming standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred and 3+ years of experience in a guard or security officer position.
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Valid driver's license required to operate assigned fleet.
- Ability to obtain and maintain state-specific guard card or other licensing requirements.
- Current First Aid/AED/CPR certification.
