Lead Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the role

Lead and manage the occupational therapy team, ensuring seamless implementation of treatments and patient care. Provide direct patient care, build strong relationships, and support patients’ rehabilitation goals. Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with team scheduling, training, and communication. Foster a collaborative environment focused on compassionate, personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Support daily therapy operations, including scheduling and staff orientation
• Deliver personalized patient care, understanding individual needs and celebrating progress
• Collaborate with hospital departments and team members to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification in occupational therapy
• CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program
• Minimum three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, including two years of clinical practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications
