Lead Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the Role

Lead and support the occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting, ensuring effective implementation of procedures and personalized patient care. Collaborate with the Director of Therapy Operations to manage daily team activities, including scheduling, training, and communication with hospital departments. Provide direct care to patients, fostering relationships and guiding them toward recovery goals while celebrating their progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operational tasks and team management
• Deliver compassionate, individualized therapy to patients
• Build strong patient relationships and track progress
• Support team training, orientation, and communication
• Ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program
• Minimum of three years in occupational therapy or leadership, with two years of clinical experience
• CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or holding specialty certifications
