Lead Automotive Instructor
Responsibilities
- Participate in required trainings, meetings, and cross-functional team initiatives
- Collaborate with CTE team to organize classes, vet candidates and determine daily training priorities
- Create and facilitate ASE aligned curriculum with a focus on in-demand technical and essential skills
- Build and maintain relationships with employer partners to support job placement and referral pipelines
- Ensure availability and proper use of instructional tools, equipment, and training vehicles
- Oversight of day-to-day program operations, tracking participant progress, and maintaining required records to meet program and grant outcomes
Qualifications
- Hunter Alignment Certified (preferred)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Strong knowledge of entry-level ASE certification standards and automotive repair practices
- Core 40 High School Diploma (Associates Degree related to industry preferred)
- Current Professional level ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications or ability to obtain

The Automotive Instructor leads the Automotive Skilled Trades Training Program, delivering ASE-aligned training, developing and facilitating curriculum, and preparing participants for entry-level employment in the automotive industry. The role includes overseeing program operations, collaborating with various teams, and supporting participant success and job placement.
