LEAD, APG MECHANIC

About the role

We are seeking a Lead, APG Mechanic to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our APG Mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a crew of 20 or more and able to prioritize tasks daily.
• Remove and replace various aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment following verbal and written instructions.
• Perform the duties of and provide necessary training for lower skill levels.
• Perform as Relief Lead, assuming all Lead responsibilities in their absence.
• Maintain and store various tools in a serviceable condition.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification required.
• Three (3) years minimum experience in heavy commercial maintenance.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
